Ekologix Screening’s unique construction requires no maintenance when it comes to oiling and painting. Those costly and tedious tasks become chores of the past, saving you both time and money.
Unlike timber, Ekologix Screening requires no special treatments to combat mould and termite damage. The plastic deters termites and as Ekologix Screening absorbs less water than timber, it is less likely to suffer from the effects of mould and mildew.
Many composite products can end up looking like plastic over time. However, Ekologix Screening has been carefully engineered, designed and finished to look and feel like natural timber even after it’s fully weathered.
Traditional timber will fade to grey if left untreated by oiling, staining and painting. But Ekologix Screening will not fade to grey because it’s equipped with Anti-UV technology to combat fading in sunlight.

When timber and bamboo products are manufactured, offcuts and shavings are produced as a bi-product.These shavings are collected, reclaimed and combined with recycled plastic. These components make up for more than 90% of Ekologix Screening’s composition.
