Ekodeck has been used in this beautiful Sandringham house to create 3 different outdoor spaces, extending the living spaces of the home and brings the outdoors in.
The greystone colour contrasts the white exterior and black trimmings of the home without compromising the design. Instead, creating a modern touch that flows on with the clean lines of the architecture.
Originally, the homeowner wanted to use Ekodeck in the Red Rock to match the Jarrah floorboards inside the house. But the change of mind was definitely worth it in the end – as she felt that the red might have been too strong and heavy aesthetically.
The balcony on the first level is a great platform to view the sunset while overlooking the bay, while the deck on the ground floor has been cleverly designed for everyday use.
In this project, Ekodeck has been top fixed and has been designed with a frame and breaker boards for clean lines and minimal joins.
